Ranars' custom Archer Dungeon build!

Well, here is my personal favorite of the Archer talent builds I have used. Here it is fellow archers:

I used to have a archer, dont play it anymore. I dislike human now. Elf turns me on Might make a new elf ranger, dunno yet. Thanks for sharing your build. If i do start up a ranger again im sure to give this a try!

Cmon now Ranars, that build is a little sucky...considering shooting stance is rarely used in dungeons. Here's my build:

^^^This is my favored build, and it isn't too bad for farming or PvP either...besides...the cutthroat DoT is pretty good for wearing down Dungeon Boss health. Hope you find it useful (more useful than Ranars' build, no offense to you Ranars)

Sunaki are you serious lmfao? Shooter's Stance is one of the most used abilities for dungeon bosses. Please learn how to play before you make a claim such as that. Ask any good archer and they will tell you to use shooter's stance.

meh, shooters stance is only useful for crazy DPS, and honestly, i've never ran with a tank other than myself and tooeasy that can handle full DPS from high DPSers without losing aggro. ideally it would be good, but practically, i'd guess you rarely ever get to use it, unless ur just holding back DPS. there really aren't alot of options when it comes to archer, easiest job in the world.

Colby, that is kind of true, but it severely boosts dps. On bear boss if you have a bad tank it's useful, and if your tank is even remotely good, you should be fine. That's also why you don't group with scrubs .

well, it would obviously provide a big boost to DPS. I don't have it at all on my ranger. I have improved escape and cutthroat and stuff from my old PvP build. But besides tooeasy, I haven't ran with single tank that doesn't lose aggro when I go full DPS. Not one. (Never ran with bizzy tho, lol, he's always buzy)

my point is, if you use shooter stance but still have to hold back DPS, it's kind of pointless and a waste you know?

Yea, bizz is a really good tank though, but nowadays I don't really try to group with noobish tanks for that reason exactly


EDIT: Also though, this is my STRICTLY dungeon build haha. In no way shape or form does this benefit pvp skills besides in normal ways.

How do u not know how to post pictures, secondly i guess u could do that spec but u need to have blinding powder

if ur gonna make i dungeon spec i suggest u have upgraded escape for the dodge incase of tank now holding aggro and also blinding powder to assist after

What is the point of going in to get blinding powder as a dungeon only archer? There is nothing for bosses that you can really do with sneak. And with upgraded escape, with a good tank you shouldn't get aggro

Mine is 60 and has rune, two epics on but still needs some things, I had Lkn/Lukan set up my talents and she seems pretty kick ass now

I've just read the topic and replies.

1) I'm a little mad Colby didn't count me as an awesome tank. Dude srsly with good healer like marQz I can wear full dps set and accessories and no archer or Mage will ever steal aggro. But in real life I hardly ever get a healer like that.

2) Any ranger build requires the dodge bonus on escape. If u try to argue with that better go and jump off a cliff cuz u're a lost cause. This skill saved my skin countless times. Rangers as a default r full offense thus it is only logical u need some way of defending urself, especially as archer cuz sin can just go poof smoke bomb and archer just runs? And then tank goes chasing after him and the boss? Sometimes it's better just to pop escape with dodge bonus and let tank take the aggro back. Especially with crappy healer where tank is forced to pop g stance and reduce his skill spam (or he dumps all morale and break the effect) which in result decreases his dps/capability to hold aggro

btw about what ranars said, expect the worst, theres alot of sucky tanks who think wearing full defender will help keep aggro, its doesnt.

Just FYI Nekkid...I'm sunaki in the game (duh) and Ranars, as Colby said, would you rather die 5 times for every run or play it the safe way? You can't move in shooter's stance unless you wanna break the effect, which is probably the best idea if a dungeon boss is hitting you for 2-4k damage per attack.
