I thought id post this up to see peoples taste in music. You can learn alot about a person by the music that they listen to and its a topic most can relate too. For example you could post which bands you like, why you like them, your favourite song from them and maybe a link every now and then^^
Alright.. I was a disturbed child. Still am c:
*cracks knuckles*
Let's get this started.
Music for me started when I was about 10 or 11 years old with Iron Maiden, which an Older friend recommended to me.
Following that was a short period with some other stuff like The Gorillaz . I remember that the calm part starting at 2:35 gave me shivers back then, and it still does.
I think I also listened to some Nightwish after that for quite a while.
Then the same friend, gave me a USB stick with his music on it. On it was toooons of songs including Korn, System Of A Down and some other stuff. Basically a lot of metal. But on that stick was also Rise Against, one of my favourite bands to this day.
I like to think that Rise Against not only affected my taste in music but also me as a person and in a way shaped me into who I am today.
After that I pretty much stopped listening to music for a while save for Rise Against some random bands such as The Ceasars and Yellowcard that I happen to come across from a game or some other source.
Oh and the occasional songs from anime like D-techno life By UverWorld , After dark By Asian Kung Fu Generation and Change By Miwa . Bleach may have turned to shit but at least the openings had some really good music. This didn't last long because I can't understand Japanese and I'd be embarrassed if someone ever caught me listening to this.
As the Months went on, Yeah, I didn't really listen to a lot of different bands then.
Oh and the Guano Apes too, which one of my Teaches actually recommended to me! How could I forget these guys.
I think that's about it. Gosh, that was quite a stroll through memory lane. x)

End of primary school my craze for music began ;p. my older brother showed me guitar hero & i loved almost every song on it

Haha thanks guess we have a similar taste in muzak. I forgot to add that I like pretty much anything, just not a big fan of country and loathe Nickelback like no tomorrow. :twisted:
